Street parking is very safe in this quiet neighborhood, carport parking by arrangement available for one car only. If traveling with a trailer then that can be backed into the carport off the street and car can be parked across the driveway.

Hamilton is well known for its Cosmopolitan influence, featured in its smorgasbord of restaurants on Beaumont Street, a short stroll from our door.
Hamilton Heritage is an early 1900 Bungalow featuring high ornate ceilings, original working fireplaces, wood available on request.
Step back into the beautiful architecture of yesteryear, kick off your shoes and relax in either the guest lounge or the screened in veranda which overlooks the private leafy garden.

High ornate ceilings and original working fireplaces complement airconditioned ensuited rooms with
comfortable restful beds.
Sumptuous breakfast of choice selected from our extensive menu served in the breakfast room which
overlooks the verandah and private leafy garden.
A short stroll from our door you will find Beaumont Street, ( famous for its smorgasbord of Restaurants,
cafes & boutique pubs),
the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Broadmeadow Race Course & all Major Sporting Venues.
W ithin 7klm you will find surfing beaches, harbour foreshore walks and dining, wildlife parks, rainforrests, lakes and wetlands. Hamilton Heritage welcomes children and pets. Nearby is wonderful Gregson Park with playground and off leash area for the 4 legged fur child to frolic in safety. A short drive to the Newcastle Foreshore you will find a wonderful beach for your pets enjoyment..

BREAKFAST OF CHOICE AND TIME SERVED IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM OVERLOOKING THE VERANDAH AND GARDEN.
The breakfast room overlooks the screened in verandah and leafy private garden,
enjoy the serenity and joyous sound of the birds as you partake of your breakfast choices.
Our menu offers choice of juices, smoothies, flavoured milks, fresh fruit compotes, cereals with tinned fruits and yoghurt. Variety of egg dishes including eggs benedict.
Or some family favourites e.g. baked beans, spaghetti, creamed corn and tinned mushrooms.
Maybe you have a sweet tooth and enjoy pancakes we serve either plain or banana with maple syrup with or without cream, your choice.
Muffins either Apple/Cinnamon or Blueberry which seems to be most peoples favourite.
Assortment of breads and muffins plain and sweet. Hot beverages of tea, coffee or chocolate your choice.
* If you have an intolerance to Gluten then we have gluten, dairy, wheat and yeast free breads, just note it on your menu to alert us to the fact. We also have gluten free cereal available.
Spoil you taste buds and order some delicious pancakes.
Pancakes are a delicious temptation they can be served with or without cream, cream can be substituted with yoghurt.
Quiet Intimate Breakfasts, served in the Grandiloquent Room upon request.

HAMILTON HERITAGE welcomes 4 legged fur children, in fact we pamper the people who pamper these children. Hamilton Heritage B & B is the half way house for those travellers moving between MelbourneHome and BrisbaneHome we offer restful stressfree accommodation to both you and your fur children. Hamilton Heritage is an ideal family holiday stay not just the four legged children are welcome, children of all ages are catered for.
Please note:- There will be a small fee charged for pets $5 ea.
Hamilton Heritage provides a safe environment for fur children while their family are house hunting in the Newcastle and surrounding areas.. There is a small charge of $5 per hour for minding your fur child when unattended by you if your fur child is unsettled and constant attention is needed to settle their stress.
Short or long term stays are available.
Hamilton Heritage by arrangement will allow you to leave your dog for short period s of time whilst you attend special family gatherings where the fur child is not allowed to participate, a small minders fee will be charged $5 per hour if the pet needs constant attention to settle their stress because of being left unattended by owners.
For your information it is better to know the rules and regulations that Newcastle City Council has implemented in regards to pet friendly places when taking your fur child with you to dine.
Dogs are now permitted in kerbside outdoor dining areas.
Your Dog can join you if they:- * on a lead
* stay on the ground
* are not fed
* have the restaurant owner's permission For any other details you can go to the Newcastle Council website.

Our yard is high fenced and gated to allow your pets to frolic in safety.
Where ever your pet sleeps at home is where they will sleep during their stay at Hamilton Heritage.
However, we have found that it is less stressful for all if they are bedded in their own beds in the bathroom area of your rooms.
Water and food bowls are available if you do not wish to bring these with you.
If you are staying for a special occasion and cannot take your fur child with you, we will watch them for you they will be safe bedded down on our verandah which has access to the garden for their needs. There will be a small fee of $5 per hour.

in sunny and shaded areas, relax and watch your 4 legged fur children

We do ask that you pick up after your fur child you will find disposal bins in the corner of the garden.

simply relax and read on the screened in verandah which leads to the
garden, the door of which can be left ajar for the dogs to have access
to you when they wish to.

Just 7klms from our door is Doggy Heaven, Newcastle's only Pet Friendly Beach.
Here the family can relax and let the fur child run and swim off lead.
The harbor walk along the break wall can be accessed from this beach, dogs must be on leads.
The view of the harbor and ocean and beaches is spectacular from the end of the break wall.
You may even be lucky to come across our resident seal.

Hamilton Heritage offers a unique Wedding Venue for those Brides who wish to have a small intimate self catered garden wedding for up to 30 guests. Hamilton Heritage consists of 3 en suited rooms, formal dinning room, guest lounge, private verandah overlooking the garden.
Full working kitchen for self catering or caterers usage. Hair and Makeup Artists can utilize the formal dining room allowing all preparations for the intending Nuptials to take place at Hamilton Heritage. Prices are affordable, a small surcharge is added to cost of rooms for ground maintenance, crockery and glass usage. Breakfast is included in all costs. Hamilton Heritage offers a home away from home for scattered families to come together to celebrate a special occasion in a tranquil, stress free environment.
Hamilton Heritage garden is also available for hire for Wedding ceremonies, Naming ceremonies without having to stay at the Bed and Breakfast. Hiring of the garden area there is a charge of $10 per head per hour, kitchen and bathroom facilities available..

Driving from the Newcastle Airport follow all signs to Newcastle at the HUNTER STREET traffic lights turn right, then make a left turn into TUDOR STREET at the next large intersection, continue along this road through several sets of traffic lights you will pass by the HAMILTON FIRE STATION once through the traffic lights the road becomes BELFORD STREET so make a left turn into BLACKALL STREET then left into DENISON STREET on the top of the hill on the left side of road you will find us at number 178.
